You may have noted that Green Energy Claim is the trading name of Eraring Ltd. The word Eraring pronounced e – rar (as in star) -ing. It is a small settlement on the East coast of Australia in coal country and the site of Australia’s biggest coal fired power station Eraring Power Station.

Our Director, Elizabeth McKenna comes this area. She lived as child at nearby Myuna Bay. Both her parents worked at the power station and she attended the tiny Eraring Primary School of only 12 children

Whilst proud of her heritage, Elizabeth has first hand understanding of the impact of fossil fuel energy production. In this light naming her company Eraring, she has been working to develop a meaningful service in the renewable energy sector.

The Green Energy claim service allows Micro-Generators to engage in the carbon economy, allowing them to obtain a greater return on investment making solar and renewable energy investment more cost effective, or providing an option to reinforce the green energy cycle by directing funds raised to plant trees.
