Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of www.greenenergyclaim.co.uk (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by Eraring Ltd trading as Green Energy Claim, reg no 10685007. This Site is an agent for registration of renewable energy carbon credits otherwise known as REGO certificates.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
Eraring Ltd trading as Green Energy Claim and Green Energy Claim are interchangeable and may be referred to as Green Energy Claim.
You, the client or the clients, Micro-Generator or Generator are interchangeable.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Eraring Ltd trading as Green Energy Claim and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
- All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Links to Other Websites
Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third party websites before using these sites.
Limitation of Liability
Eraring Ltd trading as Green Energy Claim and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Eraring Ltd trading as Green Energy Claim and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Issue of Certificates and Time Frame
Green Energy Claim accepts no liability for the non-issue of ‘REGO’ certificates.
Whilst Green Energy Claim will endeavor to the best of our ability to facilitate accreditation and registration of REGO certificates, this is subject to the decision of Ofgem whose decision is final. The accreditation and registration of REGO certificates is subject to Ofgem processing and decision making time frames.
Green Energy Claim has autonomy over the all decisions relating to REGO certificates and determine the most appropriate time to register REGO certificates to obtain the maximum yield and will do so no less than once in any twelve month period.
Service Charges
Green Energy Claim will take payment in the form of commission of 30% + VAT applicable on the commission amount.
Green Energy Claim will charge a minimum of £5+ VAT for each REGO certificate passed for sale.
Green Energy Claim reserves the right to review service charges and will provide no less than 90 days notice of any change.
Accuracy and Complete Information
Green Energy Claim can only act as agent based on the information provided you. Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you may result in the Green Energy Claim being unable to lodge applications or the denial of accreditation by Ofgem. Green Energy Claim accepts no liability for denial of accreditation for inaccurate or incomplete information.
Affiliates
Green Energy Claim may have been introduced to you by an industry affiliate. This does not affect our standard commission cost to you, Or your terms of service with Green Energy Claim. We may make an introduction service payment to the affiliate who has made the introduction based on the first twelve months regulatory period REGO sale receipts.
Data Confidentially
Green Energy Claim will use data regarding energy installations solely for the purpose of administering REGO certificate accreditation and registration.
Data will not be disclosed to any third party.
Any data obtained on behalf of the client derived from publicly available records will also be treated confidentially and not be disclosed to any third party.

Signatures and Acknowledgments of Consent
Green Energy Claim uses digital signature services and online check boxes or clickwrap to acknowledge consent of clients. This does not change statutory rights.
Disbursement Option
On sale of REGO certificates funds will be disbursed to the client or surrendered to tree planting initiatives. Green Energy Claim has autonomy on the choice of tree planting initiatives selected. You will be asked at commencement of service to choose if you wish to receive net funds or donate to tree planting.
Should you wish to amend this choice you must provide 90 days notice in writing of any change. Such amendment will be acknowledged by Green Energy Claim.
Green Energy Claim accepts no responsibility for funds disbursed to tree planting subsequently challenged by you. Once disbursed this if final and cannot be revoked.
Notice Period
Green Energy Claim will act as Agent until further notice to administer REGO certificates. This agreement can be severed by no less than 90 days notice provided in writing with original signature. Green Energy Claim will register and disburse sale receipts of any REGO certificates valid for certification within this period.
Change of Generator Ownership.
It is your responsibility to notify Green Energy Claim of Change of Ownership of the property to which the energy generation relates. Green Energy Claim requires no less than 90 days notice of change of ownership. When notified of change of Ownership Green Energy Claim will update Ofgem and registrations. Green Energy Claim accepts no liability for funds disbursed. Green Energy Claim will acknowledge change of ownership. Registration of REGO certificates payments will occur from the date of accreditation changes on the registry subject to Ofgem processing time frames.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Country of England
